Playmat Layout
I'LL FORM THE HEAD — ALPHA 1.4 · REFERENCE SPEC, NOT TO SCALE
A single shared playmat anchors setup and keeps all four build/battle zones visually distinct at a glance. This page is a build spec for fabrication (print-on-demand mat services, or hand-ruled prototypes) — the diagram below is a scaled-down reference, not a 1:1 printable sheet.
Overall spec
| Property | Value |
| Overall size | ~22" × 24" (derived from the zones below, not an arbitrary standard size) |
| Orientation | Portrait-leaning — taller than it is wide, to fit the humanoid mech zone |
| Countdown path | Straight line along the top edge, feeding down into the mech zone |
| Mech construction zone | Humanoid arrangement — Head / Arms flanking Torso / Legs — for quick visual "is this slot filled" recognition |

Alpha 2.2 · playmat is a new component this revision — mechanics unchanged, purely a setup/table-organization aid. See CHANGELOG for revision history.
